Gear Servicing and Repair

All certified divers with their own equipment are responsible for the maintenance of  their SCUBA gear. Divers should regularly inspect, clean, and perform any other necessary steps for pre- and post-dive care of their kit. Most importantly, all divers should ensure that all life-support equipment is inspected and serviced in a timely manner by an authorized technician in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations. Not only will it greatly prolong the life of your dive equipment, but it is also one of the best insurance policies for staying safe while diving.

Recommended Time Between Service

We recommend that all life support equipment be serviced according to manufacturer recommendations. This is usually entails an annual inspection and an overhaul every two (2) years or every 100 dives; whichever comes first. Our current turn around time for all equipment is 1 - 3 WEEKS for in-house brands.
